Service Technician Training Levels

Our service technicians undergo industry-leading training on all services and products. The details of their service levels are listed below.
Qualifications
Electronics, electrical or mechanical education or equivalent experience.
Required Certifications
Certificate from a trade school or two years of direct experience in electronics or mechanical repair. Will have "New to Industry Tech" Certification and API Certification. Will also have had Gilbarco Safety Training.
Work Scope Description
Entry level position, trainee / helper. Capable of performing basic R &M tasks w ithout supervision or complex R & M tasks under direct supervision Will have completed 6 -8 months of field service in addition to submittal of NTI Programform.
Qualifications
Level 1 plus: Gilbarco Dispenser certification and V/R Tank Monitor certification.
Required Certifications
Level 1 requirements plus: Certification in Submerged Pump Systems.
Work Scope Descriptions
Performs work duties on GVR Dispensers and V/R Tank Monitors w ith direct assistance of Lead Technician. Also have the ability to open and close warranty calls on dispensers and tank monitors. Will also be available for “on-call” service for his region.
Qualifications
Level 2 plus: Certification in one POS System (If technician holds a state petroleum license then tech qualifies for this level).
Required Certifications
Level 1 & 2 plus: Gilbarco or Verifone POS.
Work Scope Description
Level 1 & 2 plus: Performs troubleshooting and repair on Gilbarco or Verifone. Will be required to travel as needed.
Qualifications
Level 1, 2 & 3 plus: Will have been certified in all levels of V/R Tank Monitors. Will have completed all Gilbarco Dispenser Certifications. All Verifone POS Certifications, All GVR POS Certifications. Must be certified on one Commercial Fleet Fueling System. Will also have certification in a second Tank Monitoring System (If in possession of a current contractor's license, then the tech qualifies for this technician level).
Required Certifications
All Level 1, 2 & 3 Requirements. In addition w ill have all GVR Dispenser Certifications, w ill have all Verifone POS Certifications, all GVR POS Certifications, and have one Commercial Fleet Fueling System Certification. Will also have acquired a second Tank Monitoring System Certification.
Work Scope Descriptions
All Level 1, 2 & 3 Requirements. Will also have the ability to service all petroleum equipment that is currently represented by Jones & Frank.
